Effective March 25, 2020 for five (5) days unless renewed.
Order 153-19/20: Order Renewing and Amending the Proclamation Declaring Continued State of Emergency and Requirement to Stay at Home
Extends emergency and stay at home order to April 27, 2020; suspends evictions and prohibits short-term rentals. Extended to April 27.

City Closes All Back Cove Trail Parking Lots During Stay At Home Emergency Order
Order 156-19/20 Replacing the list of Essential Services in the Proclamation Declaring Continued State of Emergency and Requirement to Stay at Home
April 14, 2020. Limits many multi-property residential real estate activities, all gun stores, certain construction activities, and some insurance and legal services. Residents must stay at home except for exercise, dog walks, and essential services. Off-leash dog activities limited. Requires closure of all brick and mortar non-essential business.
News Alert Pending Clarification of Order 156 on April 20, 2020
April 17, 2020. The City of Portland will permit non-essential business activity such as shipping, no-contact delivery, and curbside pick-up in order to fulfill online and phone orders until the City Council makes any changes to the State of Emergency and Requirement to Stay Home Order.
Order 167-19/20 [Amending and] Extending the Term in the Emergency Proclamation
April 27, 2020. Extends stay-at-home order to May 18, mandates use of masks, provides incentives to convert short-term rentals to Section 8 rentals, regulates sales from non-essential business, permits home construction and aligns real estate sales with statewide order. Removes gun shops from exception list.
