ALLStAR Benchmarking: What Is It and How Does It Work

Teresa Miguel-Stearns is Law Librarian and Professor of Law for the Lillian Goldman Law Library at Yale Law School. She earned her JD from the University of Richmond School of Law and worked as a public defender before earning her MA in library and information science from the University of Arizona. She has been with the Yale Law Library since 2005.  

Karen Reardon Kupiec is Director, Customer Services for Academic Subscribers with Counting Opinions, Inc of Toronto, Canada. She has worked for Counting Opinions since 2011. Counting Opinions provides organizations with innovative, comprehensive, cost-effective ways to capture, manage and measure performance data.  Prior to working with CO Karen worked at the Yale University Library for 17 years ending her career there as Director, Library Access Integration Services. 

Law Library Assessment in the Private Sector

Steve Lastres is the Director of Knowledge Management Services at Debevoise & Plimpton, LLP.  He is responsible for managing the firms global information and knowledge management initiatives.  In 2014 he was named Knowledge Management Professional of the Year by International Legal Technology Association and the Innovative Professional of the Year by the American Association of Law Libraries Private Law Librarians Special Interest Section. 

Un-Conference: Assessing Legal Research Instruction In Accordance to the New ABA Standards

Stephanie Weigmann is the Associate Director for Research, Faculty Services and Educational Technology at the Finemann and Pappas Law Libraries at Boston University School of Law.  She teaches students in the First Year & LLM Research & Writing program, in the certification program and also teaches Advanced Legal Research. She has taught International Law Research, Tax Law Research and Banking Law Research.
